In conjunction with the U.S. Housing and Urban Development and Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Borough of Stroudsburg is providing grant funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic.  Funding is available under the CARES Act funding from the Borough of Stroudsburg’s Community Development Block Grant – COVID-19.

The Stroudsburg Emergency Mortgage Assistance Grant Program will provide eligible applicants the following:

• Minimum three (3) months of mortgage assistance.
• Maximum monthly mortgage assistance of $1,000 per month (principal & interest ONLY).
• Form of assistance from the grant will be paid directly to the mortgage company.

The Stroudsburg Emergency Assistance Grant Program will be a one-time assistance grant for eligible Stroudsburg Borough residents.

Funding is limited.  Applications will be accepted on a first-ready, first-served basis.
