Trash and Recycling Collection
The Twin Boroughs Recycling Center is open to residents of East Stroudsburg Borough and Stroudsburg Borough only. Commercial dumping of any kind is prohibited.
The Twin Boroughs Recycling Center is located off Lincoln Avenue just south of Interstate 80. From Brown Street, take Lincoln Ave. past Wal*Mart underneath I-80 and make a right into the Recycling Center driveway.
The hours of operation are as follows:
Monday Through Friday from 8:00A.M. to 3:00P.M. and Saturdays from 8:00A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

Residential and Commercial Trash Collection
Trash collection services within the Borough of Stroudsburg are provided by private collection companies who enter into individual contracts with homeowners and business owners. Click here to see a complete list of registered haulers. Recycling services are separate (they cannot be offered by trash collection companies operating within the Borough). Recycling is collected curbside every other week, as detailed below.
The Monroe County Waste Authority (MCWA) accepts electronics recycling at their facility at 183 Commercial Blvd., Blakeslee, PA 18610; phone: 570-643-6100. Here is a list of items accepted for electronics recycling. More information is on the MCWA web site: thewasteauthority.com.
