The Borough of Stroudsburg has declared a Snow Emergency effective from 12:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 14th through 9:00 A.M. Friday, March 17th.
Vehicles parked on designated snow emergency routes will be towed at the owners expense.
Recycling pickup scheduled for the week of March 14th through March 16th has been suspended due to the pending snow. Recycling pickup will resume on March 28th.
The NEW Parking Meter Pay Stations have been installed, in Parking Lot #2 and #3.
These Units will Accept Coin, Credit/Debit Cards with the ParkMobile App on your cell phone arriving soon.
Rates are as Follows:
Coin – $.25 for one hour
Credit/Debit Cards- $.50 for one hour
ParkMobile App – $.25 for one hour
The 40th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on March 19, 2017
The parade starts at 1P.M. at the Stroudsburg High school

Stroudsburg is a local government located in the heart of the Pocono Mountain region of northeast Pennsylvania.

The Borough of Stroudsburg offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. We are located at the corner of Seventh and Sarah Streets, diagonally across from the Monroe County Courthouse. Most departments are on the second floor of the building.
At our office you may apply for various permits such as yard sale, parade, banner, building, zoning, etc. and obtain information for most other issues regarding the Borough. The Borough Manager’s office, the Mayor’s office, Fire Department and offices for zoning and code matters are located here.
Borough Council Meeting Dates & Time
Borough Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m.
on the second floor of the Stroudsburg Municipal Building located at 700 Sarah Street.
